
What an exceptional 3 evenings we had with celebrity Chef Claude Troisgros earlier this month at The Dining Room. There was a great turn out and members truly enjoyed his French cuisine with a Brazilian flair. Everyone had the chance to meet him and get to know him better after the dinner while he was strolling from table to table, amusing the audience with his anecdotes.
Indeed we welcome chefs from all around the globe this month. We just recently launched our Mongolian promotion at The Deck with our colleagues from the Shangri-La Hotel, Baotou, who are delighted to get away from the cold weather of Inner Mongolia and prepare those very tasty a la minute dishes from the barbecue and hot plate station at the terrace.

A month has passed since I arrived here at the Club, and I must say that from day one, the positive enthusiasm here is really involving. I received fantastic support from all my new colleagues, it definitely nice to always see with a smile. So, after working for ten years with the French Chef Alain Ducasse, another new exciting experience begins. The impact with the city was great! Here in Hong Kong there is access to products from around the world, with extensive influences for cooking. In the Club the food ranges from Chinese and Thai, to International, from friendly terrace dining, to Cantonese and Italian cuisine. I’m very happy to be in such dynamic place and it will be a pleasure to share some culinary moments with all of you.
