The Club is committed to providing and maintaining the best possible facilities for you and your family, and I am pleased to update you that our Steam, Sauna, Jacuzzi and Experience Shower renovation will be ready for your enjoyment in the coming days. The facility is scheduled to re-open on Saturday, September 24.

I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during the renovation period and hope that you can refresh, relax and rejuvenate in your new wellness facility.

Swim Gala
Sunday, October 9 will see the return of our Annual Swimming Gala. This continues to be one the most anticipated events of the swimming calendar. Please check the details below to ensure enrolment.

Parental and family support is encouraged on the day and we hope that everyone enjoys participating again this year.
Application deadline is Sunday, October 2.

We are also introducing two new activities in October, Rugby 4kids and Reading For Fun.

Rugby4kids is a new and exciting sports programme specifically designed to introduce kids to the basic skills of rugby – passing, kicking, catching and try scoring incorporated in developing the basics skills of all sports: running, jumping, coordination, balance, spatial awareness, teamwork, friendship and sharing.

Reading For Fun includes the Oxford Reading Tree, Hong Kong’s most popular early years reading classes. Join Kipper, Biff, Chip and their friends on some great adventures across a wide range of reading levels designed for all ages and abilities. Another section is Creative Writing, which is a class that aims to bridge the gap between the oral and written skills. A fun class that involves just as much planning and discussion as it does writing.

And finally the Gateway Book Club is a programme that before a book is even opened, its author and their background have been discussed, the reasons why the book might have been written will have been investigated and while we are reading, every location, situation, character, possibility and eventuality will have come under our microscope. Everything will be understood and nothing will be missed…. all done in a fun way.

Summer is coming to a close, and I hope all of you had a great holiday time here in Hong Kong or overseas. Are you ready for “Back-to-School”?
